The lid does not fit. It doesn’t sit down evenly on the pot. For the money I paid I was expecting a lot better quality cookware.
I absolutely love this pan. I made the best fried chicken I have ever made in this pan and I believe it’s the even heat distribution. I’ve also made delicious red beans in this pan…it’s an all in one for me….I have the largest size but I wish it came even larger.

Ohh my goodness. Where do I start first of all? It's the perfect size for my husband and me. It is so absolutely lightright off the bat. When I got it off the track I put a small roast in with carrots and it turned out amazing. I actually simply remove the roast and the carrots and made gravy for our rice in the same pot on the stove top. Ya'll it was so easy to clean up!! If i could give more than 5 stars i would!
Excellent quality. Same quality as my Magnalite that I grew up with and still use over 40yrs later. These pots will out live us all. My grandbabies' kids will be using these pots. It says heirloom quality, and I agree. If you're on the fence between cast iron and cast aluminum, cast aluminum gives the same exact cooking experience with less work while also being easier to handle due to its MUCH lighter weight. Evenness of heat is not a problem either. Just get the aluminum, you can't mess them up at all it isn't possible. Only use case for Cast Iron over aluminum is camp fire cooking where you can throw the pot in the fire.
This pot was perfect for cooking red beans for 50 people. It heated evenly and was really easy to clean. My only issue with it now is it’s so big I do t have a place to store it. But I can’t wait to cook another big pot full of deliciousness. Next time I’m making a gumbo. I’m also going to add one of its smaller sisters to my cookware. Worth every penny.

Very nice. Purchased the largest one… big enough for a feast…lid is very heavy insuring plenty of steam inside for even fast cooking. Highly recommend.
