Magnaware stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of its cookware. This Lifetime Limited Manufacturer's Warranty covers eligible defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. It is not an unconditional lifetime replacement guarantee and does not cover normal wear, accidents, misuse, improper care, or other non-manufacturing causes.
1. Who Is Covered
This warranty applies to the original purchaser of eligible Magnaware cookware purchased NEW from Magnaware or an authorized retail or marketplace channel for personal, family, or household use.
This warranty does not apply to products purchased for resale or to commercial, restaurant, catering, rental, institutional, or other professional use unless Magnaware expressly states otherwise in writing.
2. Warranty Period - What "Lifetime" Means
Subject to the terms and exclusions below, eligible Magnaware cookware is warranted against covered defects for the useful lifetime of the original product while owned by the original purchaser.
For purposes of this warranty, "lifetime" refers to the useful life of the product, not the lifetime of the purchaser. Normal aging, wear, cosmetic change, or a product reaching the end of its useful service life does not by itself establish a manufacturing defect.
3. What Is Covered
Magnaware warrants eligible cookware against defects in materials and workmanship arising from the manufacturing process when the product is used normally for its intended household cooking purpose and cared for in accordance with Magnaware's applicable Care & Use instructions.
A covered defect is a defect attributable to the materials or manufacture of the product rather than its age, ordinary use, maintenance, treatment, accident, misuse, or other external cause.
4. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or changes in appearance or performance resulting from causes other than a covered defect in materials or workmanship, including:
- normal wear and tear or deterioration from ordinary use over time;
- scratches, scuffs, stains, discoloration, heat marks, patina, oxidation, tarnishing, minor dents, or other cosmetic changes that do not result from a manufacturing defect;
- accidental damage, including dropping, impact, crushing, bending, or other mishandling;
- misuse, abuse, neglect, or use for a purpose for which the product was not designed;
- overheating, boiling dry, improper preheating, thermal shock, or exposure to temperatures or heat sources inconsistent with the product's instructions;
- damage caused by improper cleaning, abrasive materials, unsuitable chemicals, improper storage, or failure to follow applicable Care & Use instructions;
- damage caused by alteration, incompatible components, or improper repair; and
- commercial or professional use unless expressly covered in writing by Magnaware.
Use of a third-party part or repair service does not, by itself, void this warranty. However, damage caused by an incompatible part, alteration, or improper repair is not a manufacturing defect in the Magnaware product.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service, contact Magnaware through www.magnaware.com/pages/warranty-claim. Magnaware may request information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim, including product identification, purchase information, photos, a description of the issue, and information about use and care.
Submission of a claim does not itself establish that a product is defective or that the condition is covered by this warranty. Product registration is required to obtain warranty coverage.
6. Warranty Remedy
If Magnaware determines that a product has a defect covered by this warranty, Magnaware will provide an applicable remedy in accordance with this warranty and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, Magnaware may replace the affected product or component, or provide another appropriate remedy.
If an identical product or component is no longer reasonably available, Magnaware may provide a replacement of comparable function and value, subject to applicable law. Magnaware does not guarantee continued availability of a particular model, size, color, finish, design, component, or accessory.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, a replacement supplied under this warranty does not create a new lifetime warranty period independent of the original purchase; coverage continues subject to the warranty applicable to the originally purchased product.
7. Returns and Shipping
Do not send cookware to Magnaware without first receiving return instructions. Magnaware will advise the claimant of any applicable inspection, return, and shipping arrangements. Nothing in this section limits any remedy or obligation required by applicable law.
8. Implied Warranties and Other Rights
This written warranty does not disclaim or limit implied warranties except to the extent permitted by applicable law. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so a limitation may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Magnaware shall not be liable under this warranty for incidental or consequential damages resulting from a breach of this written warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
