My large dutch oven belonged to my Grandmother, my Mother and now me. I've often touched the hot handles, regretting it immediately. NOW, FINALLY, I've done something about it. The handle covers fit and stay on nicely. I don't worry about them slipping off when I pick up the full pot. I expect the pot with the covers will go to the 4th generation next.
